How to make changes to your Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard account
Can I apply online?
You can quickly apply online for an Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard, and get a response in just 30 seconds.
Can I still apply if I am not an Hbc Rewards member?
Yes. And If you apply for an Hbc Credit Card or an Hbc MasterCard you'll automatically be enrolled into the Hbc Rewards program if you aren't already – your Hbc Rewards Card will be mailed to you shortly after you are approved for an Hbc Credit Card or an Hbc MasterCard.
Do I need to present my Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard with my Hbc Rewards Card when making a purchase?
Yes, at this time you must present both your Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard and Hbc Rewards Card when making purchases at the Hbc family of stores. When you use your Hbc MasterCard outside Hbc stores or at Fields, your points will automatically be accumulated for you and you won't have to present your Hbc Rewards Card.
What are the benefits of linking my Hbc Credit Card with my Hbc Rewards Card?
(Note: All Hbc MasterCard Accounts and all Hbc Credit Card Accounts approved after February 12, 2007 are automatically linked to a Rewards Account)
By linking your cards, you can:
- change your address on your Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard and your Hbc Rewards Card with just one phone call.
- receive additional Hbc Rewards information and point offers.
- automatically earn Hbc Rewards points for purchases at participating Esso stores when you use your Hbc Credit Card. Excludes tobacco, alcohol and lottery purchases.
How can I link my Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard to my Hbc Rewards Card?
If you have an Hbc MasterCard, your Hbc Rewards card will automatically be linked to your Hbc MasterCard. For information call 1-866-640-7858.
If you have an Hbc Credit Card which was approved after February 12, 2007, your Hbc Rewards card will automatically be linked to your Hbc Credit Card. If you have an older Hbc Credit Card, call 1-800-263-2599 to link to your Hbc Rewards Card.
Note that you will still need to present both the Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard and Hbc Rewards Card to earn Hbc Rewards points when making purchases at the Hbc family of stores.
Why have you asked me to provide my Social Insurance Number (SIN)?
Although it is optional, providing your SIN helps us to distinguish you from others with similar information and allows us to accelerate the credit review process. It is not mandatory.
How long does it take to process my application? When will I receive my card in the mail?
If approved, you should receive your Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard in the mail within two weeks of the application being received by GE Money.
How do I enroll in Credit Insurance?
Call 1-888-472-8838 toll-free to add Account Protector to your Hbc Credit Card account or your Hbc MasterCard account.

You can use any of the above to make changes or for account enquiries including:
- Check the status of your account
- Report a lost or stolen card
- Change of address
- Add additional authorized users
- Request additional card(s)

Is there an annual fee?
No. There is no annual fee for the Hbc Credit Card, the Hbc MasterCard or the Hbc Rewards program.

How do I pay my bill?
You can choose from any of the following convenient payment methods:
- In store, by debit card, cash or cheque. Find a store
- Mail a cheque or money order payable to "Hudson's Bay Company" and ensure your account number is indicated on the front of your cheque. Then send it to us at:

How do I sign up for epost?
If you have either an Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard, you may also want to consider signing up for epostTM, which allows you to access your Hbc Credit Card statements over the web at www.epost.ca.
How does epost work?
Simply sign up to receive your personal epost boxTM and select the bills you would like to receive electronically from the list of participating companies including: Hbc, the Bay, Zellers and more. Not only is your epost boxTM password protected so only you have access, but it's free too! And in addition to receiving your bills online, your epost boxTM can also help you organize, store and manage your bills too!

If I send you information with my Hbc Credit Card or Hbc MasterCard number, can I be guaranteed the information is secure?
GE Money sites are protected with SSL, otherwise known as a Secure Sockets Layer. SSL is an encryption technology that protects your credit card information as you send it from your computer to ours. However, do not send personal information through a regular email browser as this may not be secure.
